Instant Pot Gingerbread Syrup

Ready for some holiday flavor for your drinks?

This recipe infuses all the flavors of gingerbread into maple syrup, so there’s no processed sugar.

This recipe uses maple syrup, but you could infuse a simple syrup instead. Just dissolve 1 cup sugar in 1 cup hot water and us in place of the maple syrup in the recipe.

– In a latte – If you're like me it's great in your cold brew – Try a non-alcoholic g and t, by adding the syrup to tonic water – It's great in hot tea or hot chocolate too!

Ways to Use Gingerbread Syrup

I get mine on Amazon, but you can usually find them at a specialty spice store as well. Please note that this post may contain affiliate links.

Where can I get Allspice Berries?

What you need:

– 1 cup maple syrup – 2 teaspoons molasses – 1 cinnamon stick – 8 whole cloves – 5 whole allspice berries – 2 tablespoons chopped fresh ginger – 1 1/2 cup water

Place all the ingredients to a glass mason jar and cover with foil.

Add the water to your Instant Pot liner and then put the rack in that came with it. Put the mason jar on the rack. Cook on high pressure for 15 minutes.

Once the jar is cool, pour the contents through a fine mesh strainer and then put in a storage jar.

Enjoy!
