It takes like a spiced chai with cinnamon & cardamom. The ginger can have a little bite, but that’s tamed with a little nondairy milk.
I get mine at the Indian or Asian market where it's much cheaper.
– 2-inch piece fresh turmeric – 2-inch piece fresh ginger – 9 whole cardamom pods – 3 whole cinnamon sticks📷 – 6 whole black peppercorns – 3 cups water
Add the turmeric, ginger, cardamom, cinnamon, peppercorns and water to your Instant Pot. Cook on high pressure for 5 minutes. Strain through a fine-mesh strainer. Add the sweetener and mix well.
Store in the fridge for up to 1 week.
